Mobile spatial interaction (Interaction of humans with their surrounding built or natural environment and its cohabitants through the use of mobile devices)

The MUCOM group is directed by highly skilled academics with significant experience in collaboration with major business clients, such as T-Mobile, Bang & Olufsen, Compaq, Alcatel-Lucent and Freescale, as well as with many SME's. They have a range of evaluation, hardware & software design services and can help with attracting funding for projects. MUCOM is working closely with KITOUT the Park on a number of current projects.

Using GPS technology to modernise tourist information aboard tourist buses

Assisting a community business enterprise installing MiniGIST (The technology looks into the implementation of a free Bluetooth-based, dynamic GIS application for tourists - MiniGIST enables tourists to obtain information about sights, accommodation, shops and entertainment while visiting rural areas and small towns across Scotland and allows local businesses to reach and deliver up-to-date information to potential customers
